2016 Season

by John on Mar.26, 2016, under Event Calendar and Updates

PSI Proformance does nothing small.  A completely fabricated V Band turbo setup will redefine the power delivery for the Evo.  New data logging, and weight savings will make help us dial in the car dramatically throughout the season.  Help from AIM, and Sparco, combined with PSI know how will be a great combination.

Big news this season,  we’ll be racing with Pirelli.  Pirelli has developed a new DOT R racing tire, the Trofeo R, which looks to be a great competitor.  We’ve been working closely with Pirelli through the off season and are looking very forward to getting their tire on track as things warm up.

A big season in front of us.  With three NASA NE regional championships under our belt, the competition will be fierce.  Check out www.NASANE.com for event details, or watch here for upcoming races.  Either way, don’t miss the opportunity to get up close and personal with the cars and drivers!

Watkins Glen!

by John on Sep.19, 2013, under Event Calendar and Updates

After a brief hiatus we are back in the game and preparing for Watkins. A fantastic track, it will be a great opportunity to assess the improvements to the car. Thanks to EFI Logics, Shep Transmissions and Goodyear for working so hard to get us back in the seat for this important event. Meet us there at the EFI Logics tent!

2012 TTS Championship!

by John on Jan.23, 2013, under Event Calendar and Updates

The results are in and we have again won the NASA Northeast Regional Championship. This past season was incredibly demanding and competitive and this success was really a collaborative effort. EFI Logics, Boosted Racing, Moroso, Girodisc, Essex, APR, Yonaka, Enersys, KW, Seibon, Full-Race all played a key role in generating these results. As the season progressed and the number of competitors increased while lap times decreased, the demand was not just on on track performance but also on consistency. Keeping the car at its absolute edge was a critical factor and really defines the difference between having a lucky fast lap and producing great results event after event. We are very fortunate to be allied with these industry leaders and can’t thank each of them enough for their support and commitment. More soon as we prepare for 2013′s season.

Spring is HERE!

by John on Mar.17, 2012, under Event Calendar and Updates

And we are getting ready. Some good changes to the car, new sponsors and a fresh season in front of us. We are excited and busy getting the car ready for the first event.

Sponsors

Some great news as JPR Autosports and EFI Logics have a new relationship with Torque Solutions These guys make short shifters, bushings, exhaust hangers and other key parts for Subaru and Mitsubishi (and many others). The Evo X will be installing new motor mounts, differential mounts and transmission bushings. The quality of Torque Solutions parts is excellent. We’ll put together a full report later but for now, check out their web site.

Enersys/ Odyssey batteries are the very best in lightweight, high performance batteries as we are extremely pleased to announce they are out latest sponsor. The PC680 battery has all the punch of the oem battery but weighs only 15 lbs and can be mounted upright or on its side. Even the trailer benefits as the PC1750 is a monster of a battery and ready to power the winch, computers, chargers, compressors, you name it. There is no better battery option on the market, find yours here.

March 31st is our first event. A simple track day with NASA it will be an opportunity to sort out the car and driver. More on the is event soon.

Holidays

by John on Dec.25, 2011, under Event Calendar and Updates

Spent some time over at EFI Logics the other day. Amazing how busy they are and how many cars are undergoing upgrades while I sit on the offseason sidelines. I spoke with Rob For a bit and watched him finish up a Subaru engine build. I am ever impressed at his attention to detail, and his focus on making everything perfect and keeping things clean is remarkable. A very unassuming and open guy, Rob is a true professional and I look forward to his care and attention to the Evo’s motor someday. (though I sure hope it is a while out). Meet Rob, you’ll want him to build your motor too.

Happy Holidays everyone! Here’s to a great 2012!!

Nice Write-Up

by John on Oct.14, 2011, under Event Calendar and Updates

A very nice write up from Ivy League East. The author Matt, spent some time in the car at Wicked Big Meet, and then we met up again at EFI Logic’s latest meet.

As Matt mentions in the article, next up is New Jersey on the 29-30th of this month. This is NASA NE last event of the season and always a good one. Don’t miss out as there will be racing, HPDE, and our Time Trial events. Let us know, we are in Garages 8, 9 at Thunderbolt in Millville.
